Parks in Jamnagar

Joggers’ Park in Jamnagar
The Joggers’ Park is of recent origins and
came up next to the Palace Ground. It is also known as the Gulab
Kunvarbaa Udhyan but is popularly known as jogger’s park since the place
is packed by people out for a run, early in the morning. At other times
it is not so packed and you can have a nice time soaking in the sun
in winter or relaxing as the sun sets on a summer evening. But nothing is more scenic and natural than the Marine National Park. Let us know about it now.
Marine National Park and Khijadia Bird Sanctuary
The Marine National Park and the Khijadia Bird Sanctuary may not strictly be termed as parks but they do offer you a chance to commute with nature. The Marine National Park stretches for miles, lonely and desolate except for the wild life. If you go to Narara Island or Pirotan island, the terrain is inhospitable as far as the eye can see. However, it is an ecosystem teeming with biodiversity. Birds go about their lives in their natural habitat here and in Khijadia Bird Sanctuary. People are so used to the order and facilities of city life that coming to these two places is a drastic, refreshing change. These are at a distance of about 10 to 30 km from Jamnagar but it is well worth the effort. You would need to have a whole day free for a visit to either of these parks. Read More.............
